Evan the Red Nosed Reindeer

Evan had a little Christmas concert yesterday at nursery school and the parents and siblings were invited. We were SO proud of our little reindeer! I'm not sure his lips moved too much, but he did a great job of shaking his bell. He really seems to love his new school and we do too. Sophia enjoyed the concert so much that she wasn't even drinking her bottle. And anyone who has seen Sophia drink a bottle knows that she normally won't even come up for a burp without screaming!! Here's a little video clip that Jeff took of the concert. (most of the voices you'll hear are teachers and parents!!!!)

Visit with Grammy Dot

One of the first things we do when we are "germ free" is visit Grammy Dot. Sadly, it has been about 2 months since I have brought both kids to visit, which is an indication of just how many colds we have all had so far this season! We are hoping our germ free week extends past Christmas this year. So I had to post these pictures - doesn't Grammy look fantastic??? One would never know she turned 90 this year. We should all be so lucky! Jeff makes fun of how much butter I use, but I think it is the secret to looking young and vibrant :)

Today Jeff built a snow fort for Ev and his neighborhood friends.....

I left Evan in charge of holding up Sophia's bottle for about 2 minutes while I used the bathroom one morning this week....this is what I came back to...no joke! His trains were more interesting I guess :)

In honor of Sophia's first two teeth that are popping through, we took out her highchair and she is enjoying being at the table with us!

I've Seen That Face Before

Lately I feel like I am constantly thinking how similar Sophia looks at this age to how Evan looked at 4 months old. I decided to pull out Ev's old photo albums to look at some of the pictures that kept coming to mind. I was amazed at the similarities when I actually put the pictures side by side!!!
