We had a fantastic week in Falmouth on summer "holiday" with Nana, Meg, Jamie and Emilia. Grammy and Grampy also made a day trip down to visit. The weather was HOT HOT HOT and humid, but mostly sunny the whole week which made for great beach weather. We were all very happy with the house we rented - it was the perfect spot for us all - lots of bedrooms, fenced-in yard with beautiful deck, rooftop deck, and plenty of room for the kids to play. It was also in the perfect location - a quick 10 minute walk to Surf Drive Beach, Falmouth Center shops and Falmouth Harbor. Most days we spent time at the beach, and the boys did some golfing, Evan and Mommy took the Island Queen to Martha's Vineyard, we walked to town to shop a little and of course eat some ice cream! Evan had a blast - he did lots of bike riding and fishing with Daddy. One of the best parts about the whole week was for my kids to be able to wake up each morning (at 6am - NOT the best part!!!) and play with their cousin Emilia in their jammies. They were SO cute together! They formed some wonderful bonds as cousins and we hope to be able to make it an annual trip so that the kids can make the same kinds of memories on Cape Cod that were such a big part of Meg and my childhood....memories that we still cherish to this day. Here are a few of my favorite pictures and I also hope to get a Shutterfly album out soon.
